How To Make Oreo Creme Eggs

The Oreo Creme Egg is not for the faint-hearted, nor for those of you that care about calories, fat or your teeth. These Oreo Creme Eggs are meant as a once in a blue moon treat, because they are soooo naughty!

Recipe

  • 4 Cadbury Creme Eggs
  • 2 Packets of Original or Double Stuffed Oreos
  • 200g Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate

Method

  • Remove the packaging from all of the ingredients.
  • Separate the white stuffing from the biscuits on the Oreos.
  • Hand roll all of the white filling from the Oreos and use to cover the outside of each Creme Egg.
  • Put the remaining Oreo Biscuits into a ziplock bag and crush with a rolling pin, until they are a fine dust.
  • Roll each Stuffing Coated Creme Egg in the fine biscuit dust.
  • Gently melt the Dairy Milk Chocolate, using a glass bowl over a pan of boiling water. Do not microwave it as it burns due to the high sugar content.
  • I melt the bar in two halves as it's quicker and less likely to burn.
  • Once you have melted the Chocolate, roll your Oreo Eggs into it.
  • Place onto a Baking Tray lined with parchment and put into the fridge for an hour.
  • Voila! You have just made an Oreo Creme Egg!
