Can you believe the half term school holidays are almost upon us?! Wasn't it the Christmas holidays just five minutes ago? And the summer holidays just a few weeks back?! No? Just me that's struggling to keep up, then.
Well. Incase you're stuck for ways to keep the little darlings occupied over the school half term holidays, we've rounded up some of the coolest options for entertaining the kids during half term. You can thank us later!
1. Mini Ninja Sushi School, UK
Following the success of their previous holiday classes, YO!, the Japanese street food and sushi restaurant, are relaunching their popular ‘Mini Ninja Sushi School’ for February half-term. The Mini Ninjas will be taken through three recipes during the hour-long class: Cucumber Maki, Salmon Nigiri and California rolls (with additional veggie options available). A YO! chef will be on hand to help whilst kids make their own sushi, learn how to eat with chopsticks and discover a new and exciting cuisine. After completing the class, budding chefs will receive: A Mini Ninja certificate, their very own chef’s hat and a special YO! bag to take home. All the dishes made on the day can also be packaged up to take away so parents can sample their children’s sushi creations too. Classes will be available in over 50 restaurants across the UK, hosted on a Thursday at 11am between 12th – 23rd February, dependant on half term dates, at a cost of £15 per child.

6. National Trust
You just can't beat the National Trust when it comes to half term fun. There are loads of half term events on at National Trust sites across the UK – from bug hunts and nature trails, to crafty workshops and den building, they’ve got plenty of events to keep the whole family happy. I especially like the sound of the Wassailing and Campfires event at Moseley Old Hall in Staffordshire – you can join in with the tradition of wassailing around the orchard: waking up the trees from their winter slumber, banishing evil spirits and ensuring a good harvest. Afterwards you get to practice your campfire cooking and toast some marshmallows over the fire!
