Brace yourself, pennywise parents. Amazon has released its top ten must-have toys for Christmas which, in our minds, is almost as exciting as when John Lewis unveils its Christmas advert on the telly. We said *almost* as exciting.
Without further ado, here it is. Which items are on your shopping list or already squirrelled away in preparation for the big day?
Vtech Kidizoom Flix Playset, £59.99
It's basically a 2 mega pixel camera with colour screen, twistable lens and rechargeable battery, disguised as an alien robot that can recognise your face and repeat what you say. Pretty cool.
Anki Cozmo, £199.99
This guy is apparently charming and intelligent by robot standards. I don't think he can do the washing up but if he could, I'd be having a word with Santa about this myself.
Lego Boost Construction Toolbox, £169.99
Oh boy. This is a budget blower but for my Lego-loving pre-teen it's basically the best Christmas present ever. Very tempted. And mark my words: these are going out of stock fast and I reckon you won't be able to get your hands on one for love or money as Christmas gets closer.
Pie Face Sky High Game, £26.99
We all thought Pie Face was daft. Then we all played it solidly all through the festive season and beyond and, in fact, we haven't stopped playing with it yet. And just when you thought they couldn't better a family game, along comes this.
Little Tikes Princess Cozy Chariot, £109.99
Would you judge me if I told you I *really* want one of these?
Mattel Bloxels Build Your Own Video Game, £43.99
Ok, this I don't get. But it loos like it'll be a hit with Minecraft fans. I think. Does anyone get what it actually does?
Paw Patrol Sea Patroller Playset, £69.99
No, it's not cheap but yes, it will keep your little pup entertained for HOURS. That's worth more than money can buy.
Melissa & Doug Chef's Kitchen Pretend Playset, £149.99
This fab play kitchen is big enough for multiple kids to squabble over play with at once but these are already almost out of stock. Enough said. Go!
Nerf Nitro MotorFury Rapid Rally, £49.99
It's Nerf. It's cars. It doesn't really get more awesome.
Letters to Santa, £24.95
No self-respecting fan of Elf on the Shelf will be without this. Snuggle up to read the book together then transform your little one's letter to the Santa into a keepsake ornament. Aw.
How much store do you put in these kind of must-have toys for Christmas lists? Do you base your Christmas shopping on them before stocks run low, or do you prefer to go off-piste and shop for stuff that every other kid on the planet won't be asking for this Christmas?
