If my husband wants to get me the ultimate Valentine's Day or Mother's Day Gift then it'll be this Beauty and the Beast Afternoon Tea, named 'Tale as Old as Time', at The Kensington Hotel. I cannot believe such a thing exists and to be honest I am so excited that I feel like a little girl again.
Who doesn't want to pour cream from Mrs Potts or eat a sweet treat from Chip? This is an indulgent afternoon for any big or small Disney fan.
How much is it? Prices start from just £35 per person, which is rather reasonable for such a magical experience.
The 'Tale as Old as Time Afternoon Tea' is available from 13th to 26th of February daily, and then only on Saturdays and Sundays in March (4th, 5th, 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th, 25th and 26th of March).
This coming week's 'Tale as Old as Time Afternoon Tea' slots are fully booked, but keep checking and next week's should become available soon. You'll need to be quick though, as you can imagine, this dining experience is rather popular.
The venue requires your credit/debit card details to secure your booking and there is a cancellation charge of £10 per person should any bookings be cancelled within 48 hours prior to dining.
What can you expect? You will be served a variety of sweets and savoury foods that are inspired by Beauty and the Beast. Expect the likes of Vanilla & Gold Jelly, presented in shot glasses with a rose petal inside, Cogsworth Chocolate Clock Tart and the 'Try the Grey Stuff' White Chocolate Mousse, served in Chip the little teacup.
The £45 per person option comeswith a glass of Perrier-Jouët, Grand Brut NV Champagne.
