It's an official Science Museum activity kit that lets kids build their own working microscope, with up to x30 magnification.

It's made from sturdy craft card with all pieces pre-cut, lenses are included and there are full instructions, though I think younger children will need adult help to construct it.

There's lots of stock around for free click and collect and also for home delivery at a charge of £3.95.
