We've already told you all about Waitrose's avocado Easter egg but it seems they were WAY more popular than anyone anticipated.

The demand has become so great that Waitrose stores have resorted to an emergency restocking operation as the avocado eggs continue to fly off shelves. The avocado-shaped Easter egg is by far the most popular egg sold by Waitrose's own brand in its 114-year history - which makes sense considering avocado sales rose £29.8m in 2017 alone, according to Nielson's annual analysis of till sales at supermarkets and convenience stores.
Madness.
The Waitrose Dark Chocolate Avocado Easter Egg is still showing as in stock on Waitrose's website, depending on your postcode.
And if you've got £20 to splurge on a posh Easter egg, you could always go for the Heston from Waitrose Eggstraordinary Dippy Easter Egg.
Me? I'm holding out for the Edinburgh Gin Easter Egg with Rhubarb & Ginger Liqueur this year - a snip at just £12.50 from John Lewis!
Hotel Chocolat's Easter Egg Sandwich looks pretty cool too and I'm drooling over these Solid Chocolate Company Easter Eggs – so much more bang for your buck than with a hollow egg!
