Okay so this may not be what you want for the living room as it's not 4K, but if you need a new TV for the kids for them to watch TV, You Tube or play their consoles this is an absolute steal.
I won't pretend to understand all the specs, but I know enough to know that the kids can watch their apps on it (like You Tube, Netflix, Amazon Prime and the free streaming services like BBC iPlayer) and that they'll be able to plug in their games consoles to it so it can be used for the PlayStation, XBox or Switch.
