It's no secret that we are big fans of Asda George here at PlayPennies, as they just can't be beaten on choice and value, and they're the most popular clothing store in the UK. Shopping at Asda George is about to get even better as they are launching a new George Rewards scheme so you can earn points, rewards and extra discounts as you spend.
It's really easy to join in, as you just need to register with your email address, or if you already have an account you can just log in on the link above to start earning points.
You'll be getting 1 point for every £1 you spend, and there are also extra points available for writing reviews, sharing your birthday, referring a friend, plus you get 100 points straight away if you're a new sign up. You also get double points for orders over £50, extra points if you shop off peak before 12pm, extra points for using click and collect and also for choosing a later collection date, so there's lots of ways you can earn rewards as you shop.
Points are earned for your online shopping only, not from any purchases made in store or at Asda Groceries online. You can find full terms and conditions of the new George Rewards scheme here*.
As your points build you can exchange them for discounts, which will change regularly. Current rewards include:
- Exchange 140 points for 15% off when you spend on clothing, footwear and accessories
- Exchange 100 points for 10% off girl's dresses and outfits
- Exchange 210 points for 20% off adult boots and wellies
- Exchange 100 points for 10% off baby clothing
We don't yet know if the rewards are targeted to your shopping habits and needs, or whether they are the same for every customer, but we'll learn more as the scheme gets under way and we all start earning points!
