I love little things like this - they are lovely to give and it's always great to see the results. 

This is a little stretched canvas picture of a happy looking pirate (rather than a miserable scary looking one) which your little one can colour in with any of the six water-based paints that it comes with.

They can either copy the colours that are featured on the packaging or they can make up their own. If your child is anything like mine were, they didn't want to follow colour direction from anyone other than their own imaginations - we ended up with some interesting creations.

This cute paint-it pirate canvas is suitable for budding artists aged five years or over and comes with six water-based paints and a brush.  It was £10, which was then reduced to £5 and now right down to £2.50.

There are a host of delivery options for you to choose from - if your local John Lewis is one of the 32 which takes part in the 'free collect from'then you can do that from 2pm the day after you've placed your order.

If not, then standard delivery is going to take up to five working days and will cost you £3.
