Cot beds are by far the most economical way to sort out your child's bed, as they can be used from birth up to around 5 years, saving you buying a cot and toddler bed separately. They usually cost a bit more that cots, but this one from Kiddicare is a great price. The Ella White Cot Bed has an RRP of £179, and although that does seem too high, the the price now is only £62.99, and that includes free delivery as well!
This is a white wooden traditional design cot bed, with 3 mattress heights, teething rails on both sides, and it easily converts from a cot to toddler bed when your little one is ready to move on from a cot.
There aren't many customer reviews, but all of them are fantastic, which is very reassuring. If you need to get a mattress as well then any standard cot bed / toddler bed mattress* 140cm x 70cm will fit, and Kiddicare sell those for around £20 for a foam one or sprung from £30.
