I thought it was too good to be true, so I contacted MAC and they told me about that they run a program called Back to MAC, which allows customers the chance to be rewarded with a FREE lipstick of their choice, when they return empty MAC packaging.

Return any six MAC primary packaging through the Back to MAC Program, via a MAC freestanding store or counter and you can choose a FREE full size MAC lipstick.
Primary packaging is the likes of an eyeshadow pot, lipstick tube, lash case or the likes. They won't accept secondary packaging like cardboard boxes, accessories, Pro Palette Pans, or sample sizes.
The FREE Lipstick can only be from the MAC Black Bullet range only - these are worth £17.50, so it's an outstanding deal.
These are excluded from the Back to MAC reward scheme: any limited edition, VIVA GLAM, Pro Longwear Lipcolour, Pro Longwear Lipcreme, Sheen Supreme Lipstick, Mineralize Rich Lipstick, Huggable Lipcolour, Patentpolish Lip Pencil and special deco packaging shades.
