The Duchess of Cambridge has gone into labour.
Kensington Palace this morning tweeted:
HRH The Duchess of Cambridge was admitted at 06.00hrs to St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London and is in the early stages of labour.
Shortly afterwards, they followed that up by adding:
The Duchess travelled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge.
It's thought that no further announcement will be made until the Royal Baby has made his or her entrance into the world, and even then the proud new parents are likely to delay the birth announcement until all family members have been informed, including Prince Harry who is currently in New Zealand.
But we all know how quickly second labours can progress, so my money's still on a tea-time announcement in time for the evening news. (And yes, I know I said that yesterday...)
So, to help us while away the time as we wait for the Royal Baby news, tell us all about your labour, especially if you have two little 'uns. Was it quicker second time round? Who was with you in the delivery room, and how did you break the news to family members?
