To celebrate it's 20th birthday Amazon Prime Day will be a one day shopping event that Amazon are promising will be even bigger than Black Friday, but the deals will be exclusively for Prime members.
For those who don't know about Amazon Prime it's a subscription service where you get loads of benefits including one day delivery with no minimum spend, as well as instant access to thousands of films and TV shows. It normally costs £79 for the year, but you can get a free 30 day trial to see if it suits you.
You can cancel at any time so if you find that you don't want to continue being a member then cancel and it hasn't cost you a penny! But you can only access the Prime Day deals if you are a member and if something comes up that you have been looking for you will be kicking yourself if you can't buy it! Here's what Amazon are saying about Prime Day:
Prime Day is a global shopping event, offering more deals than Black Friday, exclusively for Prime members. On Wednesday, 15th July new and existing members will be able to shop for thousands of Lightning Deals, Deals of the Day, and will receive unlimited One-Day Delivery. Members will find deals starting at midnight BST, with new deals starting throughout the day, as often as every ten minutes.
Prime members can find deals on products across categories including electronics, toys, video games, movies, clothing, patio, lawn and garden, sports and outdoor items and more. Members will enjoy deals on items perfect for summer adventures, their to-do list, family road trips, back to school supplies, and everyday essentials. Prime members can shop on any device, including smartphones and tablets and enjoy deals anytime, and anywhere.
There will be too many offers for us to tell you all about every one, and I expect you can remember how manic it was on Black Friday last year - I know I can! I always have a list on the go of things we need for the house, the kids, birthday presents and so on and if I can pick up super cheap deals on any of those I will be chuffed to bits.
As the saying goes, you've got to be in it to win it, so why not grab the free trial?
And if you browse Amazon on your Android device you just might get yourself a £10 Amazon Appstore credit like the one below, and that's without having bought a thing!
