What is a comfort bra?
A comfort bra is a padded, stretchy, soft, seamless bra. It looks more like a crop top, but offers much more support to the bust. As is has a full cup at the front and vest type back, it's good for disguising back fat or flabby bits.
As the name suggests, these are much more comfortable than conventional bras. As they don't have any buckles or fastenings, there's nothing to dig into your body.
They go on over your head, as opposed to fastened under the bust.
Do comfort bras offer much support?
Comfort bras have quite a tight fitting so that the weight of your breast is kept as close to your body as possible, and the full back means minimal strain to the neck and back muscles.
If you are a D+ cup size, then you may find a regular bra offers more of a lift, but won't be as comfortable as the comfort bra to wear.
