I have to admit that the more retail stores tell us that clothes and toys are for BOYS or for GIRLS the more irritated I get. My daughter is not a fan of football, but if she was, why would she be made to feel like she is wearing “boys” clothes? She gets very upset if I have to buy her netball shorts in what she perceives as the boy section, so how about not making football just a boys sport hey? How about PJs that are gender neutral – not violent pink just so girls wear them.
