Do you work for the NHS, or know someone who does? Travel can be tricky and very expensive if you're working over the festive period, so to help out Uber and Uber Eats are offering free rides and meals or groceries to NHS staff over the Christmas period. We have all the info you'll need right here!
This Christmas, Uber are giving healthcare workers in the UK two £10 Uber rides and £10 to spend on a meal or groceries on Uber Eats.
The promotion will be available to staff with a valid NHS or HSC email address to use between 24th and 25th December 2024, subject to availability.
You need to register in advance using your NHS email. To change the email address associated with your Uber account just do the following:
- Tap ‘Account’ on the bottom right of the Uber app
- Tap on your profile picture
- Tap ‘Account info’
- You can now view and edit your email address
- Once updated, you will be sent a verification email – please click the link in that email to validate your email address.
Just visit the Uber website and register by 23:59 on 20th December. On the 23rd December they will email you a code to enter on the Uber app to get your two £10 rides and meals or groceries.
This is a great offer for health workers who are working over Christmas and most travel options (eg buses/trains) aren't running.
