If you have a load of baby food jars cluttering up the recycling then this is an awesome way to make them into a gift for Christmas! Baby Food Jar Snowmen!
Here's what you'll need:
Glass baby food jars and lids
Black tape
Black paper
Fabric or ribbon for scarves
Black and orange sharpie pens
Hot glue gun
Glue sticks
Tape
Hot chocolate mix
Mini marshmallows
Mints
The hardest and most fiddly part is apparently cleaning off the sticky labels off the jars, though soaking in hot water should help with that. After they are all clean fill them with hot chocolate, marshmallows, and mints.
Then draw on the faces and buttons and hot glue the jars together. Cover the edge of the lid with black duct tape and cut a circles out of black paper. Cut out the centres to tape on top of the lid and slipped the ring over the lid. Then cut strips out of the fabric and tied them around the neck for scarves.
It's such a fab idea, and could be adapted in lots of ways with different sweets or nibbles to suit.
