Are you heading to the supermarket this weekend? If you're off to Morrisons they are bringing back their Free Carrots For Rudolph promotion once again in all stores this Saturday and Sunday. Over 185,000 wonky carrots will be given away to customers on 21st and 22nd December to help parents and children prepare for Father Christmas and the reindeer's visit on Christmas Eve.
Andy Todd, Carrot Buyer at Morrisons, said: “Thousands of families across the nation will excitedly be preparing for Father Christmas’s visit soon and we wanted to play our part in helping to ensure he and his team are well fed. Our tasty wonky range helps our British farmers reduce waste and offers customers a delicious alternative at a fraction of the cost.”
By giving away these free carrots Morrisons hopes to encourage shoppers to choose wonky vegetables more often. Launched in 2015, the Morrisons Naturally Wonky fruit and vegetables help to minimise food waste and offer affordable produce to customers.
The free carrots will be available in all stores this Saturday and Sunday, while stocks last.
