Yesterday I had the good fortune to spend the day traipsing around London for Christmas in July - a somewhat bizarre tradition whereby major retailers deck the halls - quite literally - of some rather fancy London buildings in order to showcase their fabulous festive stock to journalists.
I'll fill you in on all the glorious details at some other stage - let's just say smash cakes are going to be a big feature on our tables this Christmas, and I'll definitely be heading to Asda and Aldi for my Christmas food and M&S for some rather special party drinks and nibbles.
But aside from all that, the one thing everyone was talking about yesterday was Lakeland's new potato masher. Now I know what you're thinking - seen one potato masher, seen 'em all. But that's where you're wrong.
