You can't possibly have missed the fact that Christmas advert season is well underway for all the major retailers. (If you've been living under a rock of late, you can catch up on our Christmas advert news for 2017 from all the major retailers.)
But if you loved the star of Aldi's Christmas advert the last time round – who could forget Kevin the Carrot*– then you'll no doubt have been thrilled to see that Kevin's back. And this time he's got a friend. His new love interest, Katie the Carrot, is pretty cute herself.
We've heard that Aldi* stores will be stocking both Kevin and Katie plush characters for sale this Christmas – they'll be available to buy in-store from 23rd November.
The Sun reports:
ALDI is restricting customers to just three Kevin the Carrot toys each this Christmas to stop people cashing in and reselling them on eBay. The discount supermarket has promised this festive season to stock more of the £2.99 soft toys of Kevin the Carrot and his new love interest Katie.
We'd love to hear your thoughts on this story. Did you manage to bag yourself a Kevin the Carrot last year, or were you one of those forced to pay through the nose for one via eBay? And will you be joining the queues of anxious Aldi shoppers this year, all trying to bag a Katie for their Kevin? Leave us a comment here or come and join the conversation over on our Facebook page.
