My newsfeed is absolutely full of people reading, and there's one book in particular that's got people all excited - 'Why Mummy Drinks', by Gill Sims. Now, I am immediately attracted to it because the title seems rather controversial. To me it's an insinuation that parenthood is tough, and I sense sarcasm too, which appeals to me.
'Why Mummy Drinks' is a tongue-in-cheek book about parenting. The Book People seem to be the cheapest around for this popular title, at just £4.99.
What's the story? A mother who is nearly 39, who wants to shun the world of yoga classes, book club and all things "us Mums are supposed to do".
This book is littered with 'FML' and other choice language, which suits me down to the ground. If you love to pour yourself a "G&T" and indulge in "rebellious parenting", then you need to buy this.
Why not pick up 'Why Mummy Swear's too, written by the same author, for just £4.24 (with promo code BOOK15).
