Got a Minecraft fan at home? You can now get official Minecraft Workbooks for your children, to encourage them to practise for school with the help of Minecraft characters and adventures! Usually priced from £3.99 to £6.99 you can now pick them up at Amazon from just £2.99.
These workbooks are designed to complement the school curriculum, and might just help get those reluctant learners engaged with Maths, English, Computing & Coding, Design & Technology or Engineering & Mechanics at home.
The English ones are the cheapest as those are from £2.99, the maths ones are from £3.74, and the newer Computing & Coding, Design & Technology or Engineering & Mechanics workbooks are a little more from £5.24, though they're all reduced from the RRP.
The books are for primary school children, with different books available depending on age, with ages 5 up to 11 covered for both subjects.
In the workbooks children get to have a Minecraft adventure in their topics, using their skills and knowledge to complete the tasks and earn rewards. They are write-in practice workbooks, that use the Minecraft game as a mechanism for practising the key skills covered in each school year.
I'm going to get both for my youngest son, as while he loves maths I think a little variety in the way he learns is always a good thing, and they could be used as a way of keeping him learning over the school holidays.
