I have a real soft spot for Little Library books - any books that encourage a love of reading and turning pages from an early age are just the most fabulous things, in my book (pun absolutely intended!).

If you've never come across Little Library books before, let me describe them to you...

They are collections of little chunky board books - ideal for small hands to get to grips with - that have a few words on each page and can each be read in under a minute; there are generally between four and six books to a collection.

My youngest son had a Bob the Builder Little Library set of books and he adored them; in fact, he still likes to flick through them now and again 'just because'.

I don't know any child who hasn't encountered the Gruffalo, who doesn't love him.  Anything Gruffalo is always a huge hit and this My First Gruffalo Little Library won't be any exception - four chunky books make up the set with the following titles: Animal Actions, Colours, Numbers and Opposites.

Delivery is currently taking between nine and 13 days, so a little longer than Amazon's normal dispatch time frame, but it'll be worth the wait.
