If you are an old fart like me, then you might not have heard of video blogger, or vlogger, Zoella. Her real name is Zoe Sugg and she is one of the most successful bloggers in the UK. With over five million followers on You Tube alone, to say she is popular is a huge understatement. She has very recently launched a book called Girl Online, not only has it smashed the all-time record for highest first-week sales by a debut author but it's caused a massive scandal. You can get the hardback copy of the book for just £5 at Asda just now.
If you have a tween or teen to buy for this Christmas then something like this could be a good shout. This book has caused a massive furore due to the fact the famous Vlogger used a ghostwriter and failed to declare that publicly. Everyone likes a bit of "Oh my God, she never did!", so I reckon this will be a hit with many internet gossip followers.
Part of me wants to read it, but I don't think I fall into the target market. Anyway, the book is a romance novel aimed at teens for sure, so if you know someone that is into that then this book is a sure bet to please.
You can collect Girl Online FREE from your local Asda or you can get FREE delivery if that suits you better.
