The Book People are selling 10 Horrible Histories books for £9.99, they're full list price is £59.90.
I've written about these Horrible Histories books before; I keep seeing trailers on TV for a Dan Snow series on BBC Knowledge about the major cities in the world and how filthy they were 'way back when' which made me come and look for Horrible Histories again.
The 10 Horrible Histories books were on sale for £9.99 the first time I wrote about them too (maybe they're always £9.99 from The Book People!) and if you've not come across them before, you're in for a treat!
Essentially, Horrible Histories are historical accounts with the gross, gory, slimy, smelly and disgusting bits left IN - just the sort of thing that kids love and will have them absolutely engrossed, never again will history be boring.
