My boys love picking their school bags. They take good time and consideration into which backpack is going to be cooler than anyone else's and this year is no different. Upon looking we found the Hoodie Character Backpacks from Smiggle. Wow! There aren't many school bags out there that are this different, that's for sure.

You may be wondering what the heck is a character backpack. It's basically a backpack with a hood that makes your kid look like a character when worn.
They are good fun, and encourage your child to actually wear their school bag, rather than make you carry it on every single school run.
Smiggle sell them in two varieties, the Shark or the Unicorn - and both are priced at £28, which isn't too bad for Smiggle.
Each of the bags has a pull out hood in a shark or unicorn head.
As for practicality, they are brilliant for school with the double zip main compartment, 2 outer zipped compartments, padded adjustable shoulder straps, dual drink bottle sleeves, padded carry handle and the 15-inch laptop compartment.
There's even the standard Smiggle internal name label, so you don't have to sew any name tags on.
