If your baby is teething or even just tends to be a bit of a drooler, then you probably already know and love dribble bibs. And right now you can get a pack of two Bluezoo dribble bibs half price at Debenhams, reduced from £5 to £2.50.
I've never really understood why dribble bibs are so pricy; the cheapest I've found them is about £2 a pop, so this deal, which equates to £1.25 per bib, seems pretty good going.
These ones are one size only and are made from soft cotton. You get one purple spotted bib and one pink floral bib, and they have popper fastenings. I much prefer that kind to the ones with velcro tabs because, as any parent who's tried dribble bibs will know, babies eventually reach a stage where they're able to whip the velcro ones off whenever they fancy. Usually when they're at their dribbliest.
I love dribble bibs and would put them in my top ten list of indispensable baby items. Not only do they catch all that teething, dribbly gooeyness thus protecting your baby's clothes from getting seriously soggy, but they also look darn cute too.
I think dribble bibs make a lovely, practical gift for a new mum too - you can never have too many of the things, and I'm endlessly washing ours - so it might be worth sticking a few of these in your emergency baby gift drawer, if you have such a thing!
